Early 60s Dramatic Liz Taylor Style Gold Cocktail Dress

This two-piece set consists of a sheath dress along with a stole of the same fabric. Dress measures 38" through the bust, 31" at the waist, 42" through the hips  and length is 40". Sheath shape with metal back zipper. Stole has long floating panels that hang down the back; it's 35" long, about 40" through the bust and has covered buttons to fasten . Fabric is rayon. No label. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True colors are champagne and gold.

1950s Light Weight Spring Suit Larger Size

Jacket measures 16” across the shoulders, 46” through the bust, 34” at the waist and length is 23.5”. Sleeves are 17.5” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Skirt measures 30” at the waist, 42” through the hips and length is 31”. Fabric is rayon but looks like raw silk. No label, no lining. Good condition with no holes; has some light water marks on the side of the right sleeve; they are hard to spot due to the black streaks that run through the fabric. True colors are light copper and black. Jacket has covered buttons and three-quarter length sleeves. Skirt is straight, with nylon side zipper and back kick pleat.

1950s 2 Piece Floral Print Dress

Jacket measures 16” across the shoulders, 39” through the bust, 32” at the waist and length is 16.5”. Sleeves are 16” long from top of shoulder to cuff. Dress measures 15” across the shoulders, 38” through the bust, 32” at the waist and length is 43”. Fabric is nylon. Label reads ”Barick originals”. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True colors are white, bright blue, green and olive. Jacket is cropped and boxy with three-quarter length sleeves; has little ties that fit through the button holes in place of buttons. Dress is straight sheath style with metal side zipper. Has original belt.

Jacket measures 16” across the shoulders, 36”through the bust, 28” at the waist and length is 22”. Sleeves are 20” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Skirt measures 28” at the waist, 38” through the hips and length is 25”. Fabric is linen/rayon blend. Label has been torn out. Good condition with no holes or stains; has slightly noticeable repair on waistband. True color is black. Jacket has three-quarter length sleeves; square neckline with small lapel, slightly shaped at waist and short peplum. Skirt is straight with metal side zipper.

Early 1960s Turquoise Tweed Suit

Jacket measures 15.5” across the shoulders, 38” through the bust, 32” at the waist and length is 21”. Sleeves are 22” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Skirt measures 28” at the waist, 38” through the hips and length is 28”. Jacket is boxy in cut with peter pan collar and metal buttons; skirt is straight with nylon side zipper.  Fabric is wool with full rayon crepe lining in both pieces. Label reads ”tailorbrooke”. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True colors are bright turquoise, muted olive green and white.

2 Piece Late 50s Fancy Ribbon Suit  

The sleeveless top measures 15 inches across the shoulders, 34 inches through the bust and 30 inches at the waist.  Overall length is 20 ½ inches.  Has a metal back zipper but no lining.  The satin lined skirt measures 24 inches at the waist and 34 inches through the hips with the overall length at 26 inches.  Has a metal side zipper and 2 hook and eye closures.  The overall ribbon pattern is accented with scattered ribbon rosettes.  No label.  Excellent condition with no snags in the ribbons.

1950’s Hound's-tooth Fall Suit

Jacket measures 15” across the shoulders, 37” through the bust, 37” at the waist and length is 21”. Sleeves are 19” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Skirt measures 26” at the waist, 37” through the hips and length is 23”. Fabric is wool with full acetate lining in jacket; no lining in skirt. No label. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True colors are black and white—any colors that you see in the photo are due to the camera’s bad reaction to the hound's-tooth pattern. Jacket is boxy with three-quarter length sleeves; skirt is straight with metal side zipper.

1950’s Tweed Suit with Topper-style Jacket

Jacket measures 17” across the shoulders, 50” through the bust, 52” around at bottom hem and length is 25.5”. Sleeves are 21” long from top of shoulder to cuff. Skirt measures 28” at the waist, 38” through the hips and length is . Fabric is wool, with acetate lining in jacket only. No label. Good condition with the worn spots in the close-up photo being the only damage. True colors are rusty red and black tweed. Jacket has one button at neck, A-line shape, deep cuffs on sleeves and swing shape. Skirt is long and straight with metal side zipper.

1950s All-over Pleated Wiggle Dress Cherry Red!

This does stretch, being a knit so I will give the MAXIMUM measurements and someone smaller could wear it of course. Measures 44” through the bust, 44” at the waist,  50” through the hips and length is 39.5”. Belt will adjust to fit from 30” to 34” and you can make it smaller by putting another hole in it. Pulls on overhead with no fastenings. Fabric is nylon. Label reads “46”. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True colors are dark cherry red. Has scoop neckline and matching belt. Even though this is a large size, the mannequin in the photo is a modern size 3-4 and you can see it looks good on her too! Just needs another notch in the belt.

Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True colors are sea green, light grey, pale turquoise and white. Straight sheath shape with metal back zipper. Jewel neckline front and back. Also original belt is missing but you can snip off the loops and never know the difference.

Fabric is medium weight wool, unlined. Label reads ”styles by Dale Lynn fashions INC”. Very good condition with one tiny repair (1/8”) atop right shoulder. True color is deep blue, darker than photos. Has small shoulder pads, three-quarter length dolman sleeves, chevron-shaped stitching at yoked waist, tie at neck, and full pleated skirt. 1960s Velvet and Taffeta Formal

Measures 32” through the bust, 22” at the waist, 32” through the hips  and length is 37”. Has fitted shape through high hips; then flares out with ruffled taffeta and rosette. Fabric is rayon. No label. Good  condition with a 1/3” tear on ruffle ( hard to spot); needs cleaning and pressing to get some dents out of the velvet. True color is black. Has metal back zipper. Two layers of taffeta and one of net give the skirt a real “poof”.

1950s Stylish Career Girl Silk Print Dress

Measures 16” across the shoulders, 38” through the bust, 28” at the waist, 40” through the hips and length is 44”. Sleeves are 16” long from the top of the shoulder to the cuff. Fabric is silk, partially lined in skirt. No label. Excellent condition with no holes or stains; but one of the rhinestone buttons is missing; you can easily find another one at a fabric store or you could move the top one down as it is very high on the neck and you’ll probably never button it : ). A couple of the seam are a little stretched as well but you have to look very close to spot this. True colors are navy and fuchsia. Has small collar, buttons down front, three-quarter sleeves, and original belt. Has straight skirt with some pleating at the waist that will give you a little wiggle room and in-seam pockets in skirt.

Has short dolman sleeves with inverted pleat, beading and rhinestones around neckline, sheath shape and metal side zipper. Fabric is wool, medium light weight with partial rayon lining in skirt. No label. Good condition with no stains; does have a few small scattered moth holes in skirt which are hard to spot on tweedy fabric. True color is a blue-ish purple tweed.

Measures 15” across the shoulders, 32” through the bust, 25” at the waist, 36” through the hips and length is 37”. Sleeves are 21.5” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Fabric is rayon taffeta. No label; has a stiff lining in the skirt to help keep its shape. Good condition with no holes or stains; but zipper is broken. True color is a icy pink. Has jewel neckline, nipped waist; slightly belled skirt and satin bow and sash at waist. Metal back zipper.

Measures 17” across the shoulders, 40” through the bust, 34” at the waist and length is 21”. Buttons all the way down the front.  Fabric is nylon, unlined. No label. Good condition with no stains; has the tiny 1/8” hole you see in the close-up but it’s low in front; 3” up from the bottom hem so you might be able to tuck it in—hardly noticeable. True colors are blue and white.

1950s Nylon Blouse with Puffed Shoulders

Measures 14” across the shoulders, 34” through the bust, 32” at the waist and length is 20”. Sleeves are 23” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Fabric is nylon; unlined. No label. Very good condition with no holes; has a couple of light spots but they are very hard to spot on the plaid and may well come out with cleaning. The black ribbon at the neck has been added and can easily be removed. True colors are red and white. Great Victorian style sleeves.

This is not your run-of-the-mill beaded sweater! Beautiful beaded flowers adorn the front and back and it has glass buttons all the way down the front. I’ll give flat measurements, but be aware that since this is a knit, it will stretch a few inches larger. Measures 16.5” across the shoulders, 38” through the bust, 28” at the waist and length is 20.5”. Three-quarter length sleeves are 21” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Fabric is wool with nylon lining in body. No label. Excellent condition with no holes or stains; left cuff has just a few beads missing but you have to look very hard to spot them. True colors are black and white.

Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True color is black. Has jewel neckline, buttons all the way down the front, one pocket low on front and three-quarter length sleeves. Would also make a sexy beach cover-up.

1950s Black Beaded Lambswool Sweater 

Measures 16 inches across the shoulders, 38 inches at the bust and 36 inches at the waist.  Sleeve length is 23 inches and the overall length of the sweater is 24 inches.  Body is lined in black nylon.  Beadwork pattern extends downward from the front shoulders to the waist with small clusters of beads scattered around the front, back and waist band.  No label.  Overall excellent condition with only few of the small bead clusters hanging loose near the bottom.

1950s Hand Painted Full Circle Skirt

Measures 26 inches at the waist, full through the hips and length is 28 inches. Fabric is cotton. Label reads (Joyce of Chicago). Excellent condition with no holes or stains; the paint is very thick and does have some slits at the joints where the two colors meet but there is no paint missing. True colors are black with cream and red paint. Has metal side zipper and pocket on left side; also a button on the waistband. No lining. It is pictured over a crinoline which is not included in the auction.

Orange White Wallpaper Print Shorts

These measure 26" at the waist, 36" through the hips, inseam is 5.5" long and outside seam is 17.5" long. Leg opening is 10" in diameter. I always recommend going by the outside seam to judge length on vintage pants as they fit very differently than modern pants. Fabric is cotton. No label, no lining. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True colors are hot orange and white. Metal side zipper, button on waistband, pocket on opposite side of shorts from zipper.
