1950s Vintage Lilac Sheath and Matching Spring Coat

Dress measures 35” through the bust, 26” at the waist (measurement taken at natural waist level), 35” through the hips and length is 44”. Dress is fitted sheath shape with empire waist, faux pearl button trim and metal back zipper. Coat measures 16” across the shoulders, 38” through the bust, 36” at the waist, 38” through the hips and length is 45”. Sleeves are 13” long from top of shoulder to cuff. Coast is loose in cut with no fastenings; has elbow length full cuffed sleeves and half belt in back. Fabric is linen, unlined. No label, just size tag. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True colors are lavender and white.

1960s Summer Cocktail Top and Skirt Set Beaded Butterflies L

Top measures 16” across the shoulders, 46” through the bust, 44” around at bottom hem and length is 19.5”. Top is loose and boxy in shape with a square bottom; has metal back zipper.  Skirt measures 33” at the waist, 43” through the hips and length is 26”. Skirt is straight in cut with metal side zipper. Fabric is dacron knit, slightly stretchy and lightweight. No label, manufacturer’s tag only. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True color is black. Top has sequined butterflies on front; black is unadorned.

1950s Vintage Beaded Sweater and Pencil Skirt Set Wiggle

This is a knit and does stretch, so I’ll give you the flat measurements and you can figure it will stretch at least a couple inches larger. Sweater measures 15” across the shoulders, 38” through the bust, 28” at the waist and length is 20”. Three-quarter length dolman sleeves are 19” long from top of shoulder to cuff. Skirt measures 26” at the waist (elastic), 36” through the hips and length is 29”. Fabric is wool knit, soft and medium weight. Label reads ”Suzy-Dee fashion”. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True colors are black with cream faux pearls and silver beads. Top buttons down front; skirt pulls on with elastic waist; no fastenings.

1950s Vintage Silk Wiggle Dress and Jacket Asian Brocade

Jacket measures 15” across the shoulders, 40” through the bust, 38” at the waist and length is 25”. Sleeves are 19” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Dress measures 36” through the bust, 28” at the waist, 40” through the hips and length is 45.5”. Fabric is silk. No label. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True color is winter white. Early 1960s Turquoise Tweed Suit

Jacket measures 15.5” across the shoulders, 38” through the bust, 32” at the waist and length is 21”. Sleeves are 22” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Skirt measures 28” at the waist, 38” through the hips and length is 28”. Jacket is boxy in cut with peter pan collar and metal buttons; skirt is straight with nylon side zipper.  Fabric is wool with full rayon crepe lining in both pieces. Label reads ”tailorbrooke”. 2 Piece Late 50s Fancy Ribbon Suit  

The sleeveless top measures 15 inches across the shoulders, 34 inches through the bust and 30 inches at the waist.  Overall length is 20 ½ inches.  Has a metal back zipper but no lining.  The satin lined skirt measures 24 inches at the waist and 34 inches through the hips with the overall length at 26 inches.  Has a metal side zipper and 2 hook and eye closures.  The overall ribbon pattern is accented with scattered ribbon rosettes.  No label.  Excellent condition with no snags in the ribbons.

Skirt measures 26” at the waist, 37” through the hips and length is 23”. Fabric is wool with full acetate lining in jacket; no lining in skirt. No label. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True colors are black and white—any colors that you see in the photo are due to the camera’s bad reaction to the hound's-tooth pattern. 1950’s Tweed Suit with Topper-style Jacket

Jacket measures 17” across the shoulders, 50” through the bust, 52” around at bottom hem and length is 25.5”. Sleeves are 21” long from top of shoulder to cuff. Skirt measures 28” at the waist, 38” through the hips and length is . Fabric is wool, with acetate lining in jacket only. No label. Good condition with the worn spots in the close-up photo being the only damage. True colors are rusty red and black tweed. 1960s Vintage Iridescent Cocktail Sheath MAD MEN

Measures 15” across the shoulders, 38” through the bust, 28” at the waist, 38” through the hips and length is 40”. Sleeves are 21” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Fitted sheath shape with shirring around waist and center back kick pleat. Fabric is medium weight rayon; slightly stiff hand, unlined. No label. Has metal back zipper.  Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True color is a bright and vivid green with some blue tones; note the white feather trim at the cuffs!.

1950s New Look Day Dress Polka Dot Full Skirt

Measures 16” across the shoulders, 34” through the bust, 28” at the waist, full through the hips ( 38” through high hip above point at which skirt flares) and length is 43”. Three-quarter length sleeves are 19” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Fabric is rayon crepe and flat rayon ( polka dot fabric). No label. Good  condition with the following flaws: Has a 1/8” frayed hole right below polka dot collar on front and about 16 of the polka dots on the skirt are stained from the blue dye bleeding into them ( see close-ups). True colors are navy and white. Dress has high collar with bow trim at nape of neck; metal back zipper, fitted bodice with three-quarter length dolman sleeves and flaring skirt with cute red netting! Also has a peplum or swag at top of skirt.

Measures 36” through the bust, 25” at the waist, 37” through the hips and length is 40”. Fitted sheath shape with floating panel on bodice trimmed in glass bead fringe. Fabric is rayon crepe. Fully lined, no label. Excellent condition with no holes or stains; missing a couple tiny fringe strands but you’ll be very hard pressed to spot that loss. True color is black. Has metal back zipper.

Fabric is rayon crepe with full lining. Label reads ”Hillmans-- Indianapolis ”. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True color is black. Has glass beading over entire dress, front and back. It does have belt loops and I don’t have the belt, but you can snip them off and no one will ever know.

1950s Stylish Career Girl Silk Print Dress

Measures 16” across the shoulders, 38” through the bust, 28” at the waist, 40” through the hips and length is 44”. Sleeves are 16” long from the top of the shoulder to the cuff. Fabric is silk, partially lined in skirt. No label. Excellent condition with no holes or stains; but one of the rhinestone buttons is missing; you can easily find another one at a fabric store or you could move the top one down as it is very high on the neck and you’ll probably never button it : ). A couple of the seam are a little stretched as well but you have to look very close to spot this. True colors are navy and fuchsia. Has small collar, buttons down front, three-quarter sleeves, and original belt. Has straight skirt with some pleating at the waist that will give you a little wiggle room and in-seam pockets in skirt.

1950s Vintage Summer Blouse Embroidered Pinecones

Measures 42” through the bust, 34” at the waist and length is 20”. Buttons down front. Fabric is cotton poly blend which proved difficult to press so I apologize for the wrinkled condition in the photos! No label, no lining. Good condition with a few pills and a couple pin-head sized spots atop one shoulder, barely visible. True colors are white with white and navy embroidery.

Measures 15” across the shoulders, 40” through the bust, 36” at the waist and length is 20”. Sleeves are 22” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Fabric is cotton/dacron blend. No label, no lining. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True color is white. Buttons down front in double-breasted style and has lace trim on collar and cuffs. Cropped slightly and boxy in fit.

1950s Pink Spring Cropped Jacket Cute Detail

Measures 15.5” across the shoulders, 36” through the bust, 34” at the waist (maximum—can be made smaller –see below)and length is 18”. Sleeves are 23” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Fabric is lightweight soft wool, unlined. Label reads “a Bobbi Brooks original”. Good condition with no holes; has the faint spots on the back of one sleeve that you see in the close-up. Not very noticeable. True color is pale pink. Very cute “Eisenhower” jacket style with cropped boxy fit and two small breast pockets with button trim. Very unusual drawstring at waist can make it fit tighter there; down to at least 26” without too much bunching.

1950s Vintage Sequined Black Shrug or Stole Perfect for Prom!!

This is a knit and will stretch so I’ll give the flat measurements and you can calculate it will stretch a few inches larger. Measures 15” across the shoulders, 38” through the bust, 26” at the waist and length is 18”. Three-quarter length sleeves are 16” long from top of shoulder  to cuff. Fabric is wool knit in a loose weave. Label reads ”a Brownie creation”. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True color is black. Has sewn-on sequin trim on each side of the front opening. This is a knit and so it will stretch; I’ll give the flat measurements and you can count on it stretching a couple inches larger: Measures 17” across the shoulders, 44” through the bust, 38” at the waist and length is 20”. Three-quarter length sleeves are 18” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Fabric is 80% orlon acrylic, 15% mylar, 5% nylon. Label reads ”Kay Wright”. Excellent condition with no holes or stains; only damage is some scratches on one button (see close-up). True colors are black and gold. Unlined; has metal buttons down front and three-quarter length sleeves.

1950s Floral Beaded Black and White Sweater

This is not your run-of-the-mill beaded sweater! Beautiful beaded flowers adorn the front and back and it has glass buttons all the way down the front. I’ll give flat measurements, but be aware that since this is a knit, it will stretch a few inches larger. Measures 16.5” across the shoulders, 38” through the bust, 28” at the waist and length is 20.5”. Three-quarter length sleeves are 21” long from shoulder seam to cuff. 1960s Lovely Lace Evening Jacket

Measures 15” across the shoulders, 38” through the bust, 32” at the waist and length is 26”. Sleeves are 18” long from shoulder seam to cuff. Fabric is cotton, unlined. No label. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True color is black. Has jewel neckline, buttons all the way down the front, one pocket low on front and three-quarter length sleeves. Would also make a sexy beach cover-up.

1950s Black Beaded Lambswool Sweater 

Measures 16 inches across the shoulders, 38 inches at the bust and 36 inches at the waist.  Sleeve length is 23 inches and the overall length of the sweater is 24 inches.  Body is lined in black nylon.  Beadwork pattern extends downward from the front shoulders to the waist with small clusters of beads scattered around the front, back and waist band.  No label.  Overall excellent condition with only few of the small bead clusters hanging loose near the bottom.

1960s Gold Tiger Striped Capri Pants MAD MEN

These measure 28" at the waist, 36" through the hips, inseam is 28" long and outside seam is 38" long. Leg opening is 8" in diameter. I always recommend going by the outside seam to judge length on vintage pants as they fit very differently than modern pants. Styled like jeans with front pockets and belt loops; metal button on waistband and nylon front zipper; they have a yoke but no back pockets.  Fabric is 58 % cotton 42 % acetate. Label reads ”Jack Winter”. Excellent condition with no holes or stains. True color is  warm orange-yellow. Slightly shiny with woven tiger stripe.
