1890-1910
Baskets Pattern Quilt Unused Unwashed
76”
by 76”. Double pink, green calico. Authentic antique quilt. Place and
maker unknown. Basket blocks with green calico triangles set on 11”
double pink print have machine appliquéd handles in the double pink,
obliterating the seam lines. A 2” frame of the green calico surrounds
the pattern area and the 5 ½” outer border is a second double pink
print. Most of the back is a red and grey dress print, but part is a cadet
blue print. The binding is formed by the front border, narrowly turned to
the back. Machine pieced and joined, hand quilted in 2” square lattice
on the diagonal through the entire design surface, with cable in the
border. Filer appears to be a sheet, giving slight definition to the
quilting stitches. Unused and unwashed, excellent condition .

Lemoyne Star/ 7 Sisters Scrap Quilt
72”
by 84”. Miami Co. IN, made by Helen Birt. Nine inch star units, each in
a single fabric, set together point to point with white muslin diamonds
between. The top is arranged in a series of concentric circles of stars,
beginning in the center with a red print star, then a ring of black prints
stars, then a ring of solid color stars. Thereafter, the rotations of
color appear to be random and are mostly prints. The back is natural
muslin and the machine- appliquéd binding is a small print. Entirely hand
pieced and joined nicely hand quilted in narrow outline around each of the
diamonds. Excellent condition, no rips or serious wear.

awesomely bad movie in any language. This is a little larger than the

with no tears, just very slightly yellowing at the very edge of the paper.
Full color. Dig that giant bloodshot eyeball! Genuine original, not a

Sonia
Henie Ice Skating Program
Here she is, the darling of the ice world, Sonya Henie, with her 1951
Hollywood Ice Review. This program is from the annual tour of the
wonderland of entertainment with good hype on the inside cover,
"Breathtaking in every detail, the revue brings to
the foreground of ice-skating entertainment the greatest stars ever
assembled in an ice extravaganza......is the last word in a new and
refreshing musical revue on skates. It has become an eagerly awaited
American institution."
Great cover design with Sonya's skating figure embossed in gold foil
amidst a background of embossed curtains and a field of highly reflective
"ice crystals". Her signature in gold foil is just below.
Condition: Near mint condition with mint condition staples; inside
pages are white; cover is flat and free of tears; cover corners sharply
cut; cover colors highly reflective and very clean. Barely
perceptible transparent marks on the cover are the only flaw I see.
Stored in archival plastic sleeve for the past 25 years.

Donald
Ducks Story Book:
Walt
Disney's 1939 story book, Donald Duck and his Friends, told by Jean Ayer
and illustrated by Walt Disney Studios. The binding on this
hardcover book is still very firm; the inside pages are off white but not
yellow or tan with no pencil or crayon markings; the cover shows minor
abrasion and one small spot near the bottom left and the corners have very
minor bends. I would rate this as a very fine grade. Second
photo is a good example of the condition of all the pages, which are all
present and accounted for.

1930s Bakelite Shaving Brush
Somebodys
cool dad used this marbleized bakelite shaving brush back in the 30s to lather up his face
before running a freshly stropped straight razor over his beard. The set measures 3
7/8 tall by 1 13/16 in diameter
while encased. Printed on top is the brand, Eveready, Made in USA, Sterilized, and a
series of unreadable numbers. Click on thumbs to see the 2 cracks in the Bakelite on
opposing sides of the brush handle. Also, the brush bristle pack has come unglued
from the handle but still, a great shaving collectible from the 30s. Just in time
for a unique Christmas gift.

And last but not least, an amusing "Lingerie for Milady
Bowler", the bowler's bra. The original box is dated 1961, Art Anson, Inc. and
has one minor flaw where a price tag has been removed, ripping up a small layer from the
cardboard in the upper left corner. The "bra" is made of very thin, cheap
plastic and the strap has more the look of a jock strap than lingerie. Feminine
touch of lace around the "cups". Good for a few yuks.
